Statement of Principle

Our Commitment To Our Clients

  1. The Paris Pregnancy Care Center (PPCC) is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church. Therefore, the PPCC, through its volunteers, commits to present the Gospel of our Lord to women and young people (when allowed by law) facing unplanned pregnancies–both in word and deed.
  2. The PPCC is committed to providing its clients with accurate and complete information about both prenatal development and abortion. Plus, providing young people with an accurate and informative message about the benefits of abstaining from sex until marriage and the consequences of sexual activity outside of marriage.
  3. The PPCC is committed to assisting women to carry to term their babies by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God’s people and the community at large, these women may face the future with hope and plan constructively for themselves and their babies.
  4. The PPCC never discriminates in providing services because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, or marital status of clients.
  5. The PPCC never advises, provides, or refers for abortion or abortifacients.
  6. The PPCC offers assistance free of charge at all times.
  7. The PPCC does not engage in contraceptive counseling or in referring for contraceptives or contraceptive services. We are committed to providing true and accurate information regarding the physical, emotional, and spiritual repercussions of sexual activity outside of marriage. (Married women seeking contraceptive information should be urged to seek counsel, along with their husbands, from their pastor and physician).
  8. The PPCC volunteers are dedicated to modeling in word and deed a lifestyle of sexual purity.
  9. The PPCC volunteers offer support and encouragement to anyone struggling in the area of sexuality.
  10. The PPCC endeavors to present a twofold approach to solving crisis pregnancies in this region. This will be through maintaining a standing center for women who have unplanned pregnancies and going to the community with an “abstinence only” message.
  11. The Center is committed to creating awareness within the local community of the needs of pregnant women and the fact that abortion only compounds human need rather than resolving it.
  12. The PPCC recognizes the validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion but is not biased toward adoption when compared to the other life-saving alternative. The PPCC receives no payment of any kind from these agencies, does not enter into a contractual relationship with them, and does not share combined office space. Adoption agencies are not established under the auspices of the PPCC. The Paris Pregnancy Care Center neither initiates nor facilities independent adoptions.
